Questions:

1. Which altered portrait was the hardest to create? Why? Explain.

The altered portrait that was hardest to create was the cracked face because I didn't know how to warp it at first

The cyanotype because it requires a very small amount of steps.

3. What does "Altered Portrait" mean to a viewer vs a photographer? Explain.   To a viewer it means oh really nice edited pictures that are attractive to the eyes. To a photographer it means a little more to them  because they know all the hard work they went through to take the picture and then having to edit it perfectly.

4. Out of the 7 altered portraits which one will you likely create again? Why? Explain. I would like to create the cracked face because I found it pretty interesting.

5. What is the historical significant behind one of the altered portrait techniques you learned? Explain.

6. Why is it important for you to learn how to alter portraits? Explain.

I think it is important because we learn new features about photoshop that we never even knew and it helps us improve our photo shooting and editing skills.

7. Should all portraits be altered? Why or Why not? Explain. No only some because sometimes they look better naturally, and if you can take really nice pictures without having to use photoshop, it will make you a much better photographer.

8. By altering an portrait, what does it allow you to do to the portrait? Explain. it allows you to change and manipulate an image.

Blur Motion

Blur Motion Before Questions:

1. What is blur motion? (In your own words, not what I gave you above) Explain.

Blur motion is a streak like effect when you shoot a still image because the subject is moving rapidly.

2. What all do you need to create a blur motion image? Explain.

To create a blur motion image you must place the camera parallel with the subject, the camera must be fully focused and clear, the image must be still and the subject must be moving

3. What is your subject going to be? What will it be doing? Explain.

My subject is going to be my photo 2 partners in the classroom.

4. What do you adjust in the camera to get a blur  motion image work? Explain.

you don't really have to adjust anything in the camera but you have to hold it still make sure the camera is parallel with the subject.

5. Find 25 images and explain how it was taken and what it is I am seeing in the image?  what you are seeing in these images is a blur motion image in many different ways. The first image the subject is waving his hand the second image, the subject is jumping up, the third image the subject is kicking his feet, and the 4th image the subject is circling a glowing object and so on.

Blur Motion After Questions:

1. What is blur motion?  Explain.

Blur motion is the act of shooting an image that has moving effect. it is when the background of the image is completely still and the subject in the picture is moving.

2. How did you create your blur images with the camera? Explain.

i created my motion blur images by pointing the camera parallel with my subject, my subject was moving to create some type of blur or streak like effect while the background was completely still.

3. What did you do to the image in photoshop? Explain.

i did many different edits to each picture. The edits were really basic to enhance the image to make it look a little more eye appealing.   For example highering and lowering the exposure gamma correction and offset.

4. What was difficult about shooting this image? Explain.

What i found difficult about shooting the image was making sure my subject was clear but also in motion. Because most of the time the subject would appear very blurry and the image wouldnt look good.

5. What was easy about shooting this image or editing it? Explain.

What i found easy about shooting these images was that it does not require much work with the camera other than getting it to focus and align the camera parallel with the subject.
